Mackinaw City Area Arts Council

michigan arts council - logo imageThe Mackinaw City Area Arts Council (MCAAC) was organized in late spring 2011 with a six-member steering committee. We currently have an eleven-member board and 67 individual, family and corporate members.

We are a 501-c-3 organization that was awarded a grant of $6,800 from the State of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) in 2014. The grant was awarded through the MCACA peer review process and was one of 428 applications to compete for MCACA fiscal year 2014 funding. In 2015-2016 we were once again awarded a grant from the State of Michigan Arts Council in the amount of $5,000, and then again for the year 2017-2018 in the amount of $7,500.
