The Mackinaw City Area Arts Council aspires to procure a facility, employ a paid director and develop a self-sustaining funding source to promote the arts in the Straits of Mackinac area.
Our Mission
The mission of the Mackinaw City Area Arts Council is to promote participation in and appreciation of the arts in the Straits of Mackinac area through year round exhibits, education, activities, and performances.
The Arts Council was organized in 2011. We currently have nine board members plus individual, family, and business members. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. All contributions are fully tax deductible.
