Winterfest Art Exhibit

7th Annual MCAAC Art Exhibit

Mackinaw City Winterfest Art Exhibit

The Mackinaw City Area Arts Council held its annual Non-Juried Art Exhibit during the Mackinaw City Winterfest.

For the 7th Annual Winterfest Art Exhibit the theme was: Meet……Mackinaw.  The MCCAC Art Exhibit highlighted entries reflecting the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. Thanks to all who displayed their talents and to those who attended!

The theme selected for the 2019 Winterfest Art Exhibit is SEASONS OF MACKINAW Submitted art can be framed paintings of the various medium, fabric art, quilting, sculptures, paper mache’, wood carving, rock painting, metal work, leather work, jewelry, weaving, calligraphy, photography, block printing, etc.  There is no limit on which artistic medium you choose to enter. Space could be a problem if you choose to enter something the size of a horse! You can submit more than one item.  All exhibitors must be members of MCAAC. Learn more about becoming a member.

All exhibited artwork must be the artists’ own work and have been created in the last five years. Think about how your art reflects why we love living at the Top of the Mitt.

Specific information will be posted later in the year. Please do not hesitate to contact MaryAnn Moore, the Winterfest Art Exhibit Chairperson, for more information  by calling 734-934-0170.
